About me
Christian Schneider – many decades of passion for real wood
For 30 years, I have been shaping wood. Not according to a curriculum, but according to feeling, experience, and the conviction that true craftsmanship needs no job title.
What started as a passion is now my craft: creative unique pieces made from selected solid woods – dining tables, bathroom furniture, bowls, wall objects. Each piece is created according to the specifications of the material, not a catalog. I select each plank myself, decide on the shape, surface, and finish – and only deliver when I am personally satisfied.
My particular passion is surface finishing. I exclusively use Rubio Monocoat oils – natural, solvent-free, in over 40 colors. For maximum protection, I also seal with N3 Nano Ceramic protection; for outdoor use, I use Clean Armor, which I import directly from Canada. I avoid epoxy resin 95% of the time – I look for solutions that let the wood speak for itself.
Coffee table · Tree slice · Five types of wood
Coffee Table - five woods - three colors - unique.
Oak, bog oak, poplar, maple and mahogany – united in a single tree slice. The natural cracks were not filled with epoxy resin, but with a technique from cutting board construction: inlays of various precious woods, recessed 65 mm deep.
Three Rubio Monocoat colors on one table. Four layers of N3 Nano ceramic sealing. The frame made of solid oak – simple, so that the wood can speak.
The highlight: inlays as thick as the panel 65 mm
Every crack tells a story. Instead of hiding it, I make it a design element. Not with epoxy – but with inlays made of various precious woods or metals that stabilize and create deliberate accents – visibly handcrafted, honest in material.

Lasting Patina – Reclaimed Oak
Old wood tells stories. Every scar, every discoloration, every knot hole is part of its history – and that is precisely its value.
Made from carefully selected reclaimed oak. The natural patina has been deliberately preserved and gently refined with Rubio Monocoat. The result: a unique bathroom piece that gains value the longer you look at it.
Master bathroom · Old oak · Black aluminum
Master Bathroom – Old Oak Meets Modern Design
Lightly oiled, clearly structured. This old oak bathroom furniture combines the warmth of natural wood with the precision of modern forms.
Black aluminum handles provide a striking contrast. The surface is treated with Rubio Monocoat in a light natural tone – matte, easy to clean, durable. No plastic, no laminate, no compromises.
Bowls · Solid wood · Turned
Bowls – Wood in its purest form
Each bowl is crafted from a single piece of solid wood – maple, oak, poplar, ash, cherry. The form follows the material, not the other way around.
No epoxy resin, no filling, no correction. I accept what the wood dictates – and refine it with Rubio Monocoat into an object you want to touch. Colorful bowls with texture, each piece is unique, I never make the same bowl twice.
From the Current Collection
Modern oiled bowls made from selected woods – as decoration, fruit bowls or personal gifts. Each piece is a handshake with the material and at the same time a unique item.

Rubio Monocoat & N3 Nano Ceramic Sealant
My passion is not just wood – but the finishing touch. I exclusively process Rubio Monocoat oils: natural, solvent-free, in over 40 colors. The result is a matte, velvety surface without plastic sheen.
For the highest demands, I additionally seal with N3 Nano ceramic protection – invisible, hard-wearing, water and dirt repellent. For outdoor areas, I use Clean Armor, sourced directly from Canada.
Wood is not a material. It is a living being with a history.
