Security meets clear design language. The ALU LINE POPLAR.CLOSED is our bar stool series with a fully closed backrest made of solid poplar – organically shaped, gently curved, and precisely crafted.
The closed backrest provides more than just support. It embraces the back over a large area, creates a secure seating experience, and forms a calm, complete silhouette in the room. The curved shape of the backrest does not follow a technical necessity, but a design decision: furniture should feel as if it were made for people.
The frame made of powder-coated aluminum keeps the construction light and durably stable – visibly delicate, supporting in the hidden. The choice of poplar wood underlines this approach: its light, fine-pored appearance gives the curved backrest a natural lightness, which can be individually deepened by finishing with Rubio Monocoat shades – from pure natural tone to expressive colors.
