The WOOD BOWL COLLECTION is a series of decorative wooden bowls that emerge from what others leave behind: carefully selected leftover wood, milled with CNC precision, finished with the most vibrant colors from Rubio Monocoat.
Each bowl is an original. Not as a marketing promise, but as a conscious decision: No design is milled a second time, no file is saved, no shape is repeated. What is created, is created once. Form, size, texture, and color follow the creative moment – and the wood that makes this moment possible.
The surfaces tell a story. CNC-milled textures catch the light in a way that smooth surfaces cannot – depending on the incidence of light, depth, movement, and a tactile experience that invites touch emerge. Rubio Monocoat transforms these textures into color experiences: vibrant tones that penetrate the wood instead of covering it, allowing the grain and structure of the material to remain visible.
The wood itself brings its history. What began as a remnant of another piece of furniture – as a section, as a leftover piece, as a seemingly worthless fragment – becomes the basis for something new here. Sustainability not as a concept, but as craftsmanship.
